WHY?
If you have visited Black Heart Ink you have probably met Gary’s partner, Emma.
What you might not know is that 18 years ago Emma suffered a major stroke that left her having to relearn simple tasks like walking, eating and dressing. Through sheer determination and with the support of the health services she overcame most of the obstacles the stroke threw in her way.
She still suffers with some pain and issues with her limbs and loss of sight but is able to live a fulfilling life and gets to put up with us!!
We wanted to help raise funds for the work that Stroke Association undertake, helping stroke sufferers rebuild their lives, like Emma.
WHAT?
Our amazing team have offered to tattoo the winners completely free of charge!!
Check out their offer below. This is around £400 worth of tattoo time each.
Over 3 months this is over £7000 worth of tattoos being given away in aid of Stroke Association!!
WHO?
These are the offers from each of our artists. Remember, you must follow the artist on Instagram to be able to be considered for their tattoo.

Gary – A blackwork / black and grey tattoo up to A4 in size
Amy – A floral / ornamental tattoo up to A4 in size
Ben – An anime tattoo up to A4 in size
Tim – A large script / lettering or traditional tattoo up to A4 in size
Beni – A realism / portrait tattoo up to A4 in size
Charlie – Geometric / dotwork tattoo up to A4 in size
HOW?
Simply go to our Just Giving page and donate a minimum of £5.
Make sure to leave your Instagram username as a message!!

Unfortunately you can’t gift aid the donation on this occasion. Feel free to hide your name and the donation amount from public view if you want some privacy, just make sure your Instagram username is in the message section or you can’t win!!
Make sure you are following one (or all) of the tattoo artists.
WE WILL NOT CONTACT YOU ASKING FOR DETAILS OR MONEY. ALL DONATIONS GO STRAIGHT TO THE CHARITY VIA JUST GIVING.
HOW IT WORKS IN SIMPLE STEPS
- Click the link and donate at least £5
- Make sure you have entered your Instagram username in the message section on the Just Giving page.
- Follow as many of the Black Heart Ink artists on Instagram as you want.
- When we get to the end of the month or donations reach £1000, we will pick winners using a random generator on Instagram Live. We will give as much notice of the draw as we can.
- We will draw 6 winners and then allocate a prize in the order they were drawn.
- Each winner will receive a tattoo from an artist they follow. If all of the artists the winner follows have been allocated in this draw there will be a redraw.
(It makes sense just to follow everyone!!!)
7. Winners can donate their prize to someone else.
8. All entries will remain in all draws until they have ‘won’ or the competition ends (end of 2023).
WHEN?
When donations reach £1000 or it’s the end of the month we will carry out a live draw on Instagram. We will repeat this until the new year!!
The artist will reach out directly to the winner to start the process.

2. This is being run on Instagram only. Sorry if thats a pain but that’s where we all are.
3. If you forget to add your Instagram to the donation you will have to donate again.
4. Artists will only carry out the tattoos on offer and may refuse certain placements.
5. Any abuse, rudeness or general bad behaviour will not be tolerated and we reserve the right to withdraw your offer of a free tattoo should we deem it appropriate.
6. Only one entry per person regardless of donation numbers or amount.
7. If you have already won we will draw again.
